Following her phenomenal success both in the UK and throughout the world, Cascada releases her debut album with production duties supplied by DJ Manian and Yanou (the same team behind DJ Sammy's success with 'Heaven' a couple of years ago).
The album shows a real strength in depth and features cover versions of Kim Wilde's 'Kids In America' and an interpolated version of Nik Kershaw's 'Wouldn't It Be Good' as well as tracks penned by DJ Manian and Yanou.
"Everytime We Touch" was the biggest pop dance single of 2006 the world over, bar none, selling far over 2 million singles (including downloads) and 390,000 albums in Europe alone!
Peaking at #9 in the USA Billboard Top 100 it has had bigger US sales success than DHT, Bob Sinclar, Mylo & Basement jaxx. It was in the top 5 UK Sales chart three weeks in a row! Peaking at #2.
It has achieved platinum status in Skandinavia & Gold in Spain, Holland, Germany, Poland & Greece!
It was just two years ago that new dance/pop star Cascada (born Natalie Horler) was a little known, pro session singer based in Bonn, Germany. She would sing on tracks produced by various local DJs, but she wasn’t established as an artist or performer. However, in 2004 she began working with the writing/producing team of Yann Peifer & “DJ Manian” Reuter, and soon after recorded her vocals on songs which would become hit singles under her new artist name, Cascada (which means “waterfall” in Italian).
